Diana Nyakatsapa from Zimbabwe is a senior studying International Relations at Tsinghua. Completing an undergraduate program taught in Chinese has not been the easiest for Diana, but challenges like this has taught her how to stay focused and perservere.
Studying in Tsinghua has also been the greatest experience of her life, being surrounded by amazing people, a beautiful campus, and many interesting lessons. “Choosing Tsinghua is the best decision I have ever made,” she said.
As the co-founder of the Tsinghua University African Students Association as well as the China Africa Youth Federation, Diana strives to promote the friendship between China and Africa.
Diana is also the only international student chosen as Campus Security Ambassador. She believes it’s important to ensure all international students stay safe and happy during their study at Tsinghua.
