“We first met at a Tsinghua gathering and I guess it was love at first sight. We were there for each other throughout undergraduate and postgraduate at Tsinghua. And we got married, right after graduation.”
Qi Wen and Yang Tao met when they were both studying at Tsinghua. She was studying in the Academy of Arts and Design and moved on to do a master in the School of Journalism and Communication, while he studied in the School of Software.
Wen reminisces about the moments she spent on campus with her now husband. “Thinking back, all those memories are warm and beautiful.” She remembers founding the student association of Small Animals Protection and participating in the university’s centenary together.
Today, Tao and Wen have two adorable boys who are glad to dress up in Tsinghua clothes to celebrate the university. They wish for their ZoYoTwins (Zozo and Yoyo) to fulfill their dreams, as they did and become #TsinghuaRen.
